Although time seems to have stood still in Dulverton, there is a lot to explore at this picturesque vicinity, like beautiful small town stores, excellent restaurants or the Exmoor National Park Visitor Center.

This is the ideal base to explore unspoiled Exmoor with its beautiful scenery, heather-clad moors and free-roaming herds of red deer and Exmoor Ponies.

 

Despite being in the middle of peace and tranquillity the Lion Hotel is only 18 miles from junction 27 of the M5, making it the perfect location for a well-deserved break or a stop-over on your way to other Westcountry locations.
