We love dogs!
The Lion Hotel is a dog friendly hotel - so don't leave yours at home! Dulverton has plenty of local walks along the River Barle and the surrounding woodlands. Dogs are allowed in the hotel, but must be kept on a lead in all public areas. Most pubs and restaurants in the area do allow dogs too. At our reception, we are happy to recommend the best dog walks and places to eat.
We charge a small additional fee per dog and night.
Bring your best friend
Exmoor is a pup's paradise. There is so much to explore for you and your furry friend: Beautiful walks, stunning nature, places to take a bath.... Exmoor is very dog friendly. There may be other dog owners staying at our hotel or locals at our bar, that bring their best friends around. Most restaurants and pubs in the area do allow dogs. We are happy to give you more information at our reception.
